Shotgun Nerf

Im back again for another review and this time "Its Nerf or Nothing" (Nerf motto ^^)

I just got this Nerf recently with the help of my friend. Thanks bro :D

Just like my other review I start with the box. Why? Because of the first impression it gives ^^
Just by looking at the box you can tell that this is one awesome Nerf.

The design is more like the double barrel shotgun with an ammo rail.

The first of its kind to be a double barrel blaster.

No wonder its called Barrel Break, you need, not literally, break open the barrel to reload ^^

Now to unveil the barrel break.

As we can see, there's the barrel break, darts and manual provided.

Lets have a bird's eye view on the package.
Look, the ammo rail is hidden from sight in the previous picture.

Now to take out the blaster.

The barrel break is held in inside the box by a nylon string.

A simple knot holding the blaster to the box.

The barrel break length is as wide as the box.

The barrel break uses whistling darts. Same darts used by the Vulcan.

Before we proceed with the blaster review, lets check out the manual.

Another simple manual provided.

A very detail instructions are given on how to operate the blaster.

Next, lets check out the ammo rail.

A very simple design.

The ammo rail is fitted on top of the blaster.

The rail can hold up to 8 darts.

That looks like a really dangerous Nerf blaster.

A simple and quick manual is provided at the left side of the blaster in case of no manual to be found.

To open the barrel, two lock release are provided to open the barrel. On the left side....

And on the right side.

By releasing the lock it allows the barrel to be removed from the body.

Inside the barrel. This is where the darts go in.

The darts are now in the barrel and ready to be lock and loaded.

Now the blaster is locked and loaded.

So do you feel lucky punk? or should I say "Hasta la vista, baby!"

From the pictures the Barrel Break blaster is no bigger than the Recon or Hornet.
Which makes it easier to be handel by any Nerfers.

The Barrel Break can fire single shot or fires both darts simultaneously. Depends on how you pull the trigger.

Surprisingly the Barrel Break has a good accuracy.

I have to say that this blaster is a must have and it makes a great secondary weapon at the same, especially if you use akimbo Barrel Break.

Samurai Chopsticks

Finally I was able to find time to do some blogging.

Today is about my Sengoku Basara chopsticks. Each chopstick is design with certain characters from Sengoku Basara.

Now to the review.

The packaging.

Each box is label with the characters its themed with and their symbols.
The blue box: Masamune Date
The yellow box: Keiji Maeda
The red box: Yukimura Sanada

The chopstick holders even have their symbols.

The chopstick with on the holder.

Its easy to handle and fits perfectly with my hand.

The end of the chopsticks are design with the hilt of the characters' katana.

This is Yukimura Sanada.

This one's belong to Keiji Maeda.

And this is Masamune Date's.

I definitely not gonna use these chopsticks for anything ^^

Firefly...Nerf, Not The Bug

I apologize again for the poor quality of the picture.

Today's post is all about Nerf, again.

Another recently bought blaster and I bought this one from Little M toyshop for quite a cheap price. Today's blaster is the Firefly REV-8.

It glows in the dark?! Awesome ^^

Now to see what is inside the box.
Another blaster that dosnet require any assembly ^^
And as usual, an instruction manual.

A bit bigger than the previous blaster, the Hornet AS-6.
It looks like more a futuristic weapon.

The firefly uses the micro dart. But these ones looks like albino micro darts.

Its a good habit to read the manual first before doing anything even though it looks very simple.
You might never know what stuff you can learn from it.

Another simple manual sheet.
And a glow in the dark sticker is provided. Now I know why it says it glow in the dark.
It has glow in the dark stickers on the darts.

Time to unleash the beast.

It seems that they prefer to use industrial bundles on one piece blasters.
Again for those below 12, please ask from your older siblings or parent to cut the bundle.

Finally, time to play around with this gun.
As you can see, the trigger is way in front of the blaster, allowing the end to rested on your shoulder for support.

The Firefly uses a revolving mechanism like the Maverick. But it can hold up to 8 darts. 2 more darts than the Maverick.

The Firefly provides 8 dart holder, 4 on each sides. Isn't that just convenient.

Another unique feature of the Firefly that there is a switch. Wonder what is it for.

The hatch for the batteries. It requires 2x AA batteries.

The cocking mechanism. The location of the mechanism is almost similar to the Maverick.
Could it be the Maverick is a smaller version of the Firefly?

Just like any Nerf blasters, the Firefly too can use other Nerf blasters accessories.

Now to the darts.
8 micro darts given and a 8 pieces of glow in the dark stickers provided.

Reading the manual, the stickers are to be rolled onto the darts.
The end product. 8 glow in the dark micro darts.

Now lets see how does the darts fit into the holder.
Fits nicely.

Now for the darts loaded in the Firefly.
Looks so deadly.

So wonder what was the switch for? Its really hard for me to take the picture of it but I found a video that can sums up my review on the Firefly.

Overall, I think the firefly can be use as a primary weapon for Nerf wars since it has larger ammo capacity than the Maverick and it also provides darts holder.
And also something that just might distract the opponent.

Another Nerf Review

Before I start my review, I want to apologize on the poor quality of the image.

Today's review will be on one of my recent purchase Nerf Blasters, the Hornet AS-6. I bought from Miri since its not sold here separately.

Here is the picture of the box.

Now lets see whats inside.
The unveiling of the Hornet AS-6.
Awesome, no assembly required. It can go directly to the battlefield ^^

Lets see what else is in it.

The ammo used by the Hornet. Micro darts or some would refer to suction darts since it uses suction cups on the head.
Just 6 darts given. Better shoot wisely then.

As usual the manual is also given.
A piece of paper with very simple instruction since no assembly required.

In front.

At the back. The picture shows how to use the Hornet.

Now lets get the Hornet out of the box.
They use the industrial bundle instead of the metal strip that was used for the other Nerf.
So to those kids out there please ask for help from your older siblings or parents since you need to use sharp object to cut the bundle.

Now let the inspection begins.

1st, Handling.
It fits nicely in my hands. And its quite heavy.

2nd, Action Mechanism.
Instead of using the cocking mechanism, the Hornet uses pump-action mechanism.
The standard amount of pump-action recommended by the manual are 20 times.

3rd, Loading and Reloading
As you can see, the Hornet dosent require any clips or ammo belt. Instead the darts goes in directly to the barrel. All 6 of it. So reloading can be faster for some or slower.

4th, Trigger Mechanism.
Here the Hornet provides two type of firing option.
Single shot
Multi shot or Salvo.

Since it uses pump-action, it can be said that the Hornet is kinda like an automatic weapon for it dosent require any more pump-action until all darts have been fired.

The video below will demonstrate the single shot and multi shot. The video below is not mine and I will not take any credit from it.

Overall I would say this is an awesome gun but I dont recommend it as your primary weapon in a Nerf war because of its pump-action mechanism. More suitable as a secondary Nerf.

BruNerf Wars Ops: Battle of the Palms

I'm back ^^ Did you guys missed me?

Anyway I apologize for my long absent for I was busy and also lacking in material to post. But after clearing some dust it seems I do have a number of items left to be reviewed.

Well before those reviews, now I want to post something that happened today. BruNerf Wars Ops: Battle of the Palms.

For those who dont know what Nerf is, you guys can check it out from my label Nerf of just click here.

The event was organized by BruNerf. A group of enthusiastic Brunei who love Nerf. To know more and/or join BruNerf click here. It was held at the abandoned jogging area at Jerudong Park. These are some of the pictures I took during the event.

These are the first groups I saw at the event.

These guys are the veterans of the event. Well geared up for the battle and came in a large numbers.
These guys are from the Hordez Resistance and Gears N.P.M.C

Photo session before the battle.

I was standing from a bad angle so I had to retake another shot to cover the entire group.

That kid is holding a Styrofoam board, using it as a riot shield. Good idea.

In that hut below is the gathering point for the Nerf Tactical Force or N.T.F.

And these guys are the Black Death Unit or B.D.U

Since I have no group of my own, I was assigned to the the B.D.U. A bunch of great guys.

These are the pictures taken during the battle. I was only able to take from a distance because I was nerf down so I had to sit still.

The picture above was taken during the "Capture the Flag" battle. A very formidable defense line. They totally outnumbered us.

Kids also enjoyed playing Nerf without the fear of getting hurt from being shot.

Taken during "Team Deathmatch" between the Hordez Resistance and B.D.U. We were defeated due to the overwhelming number of opponent.

Well thats all the pictures I took during the event before leaving early due to the bad weather.

Yoko Real Image Ver.

As promised, here it is. My biggest haul in 2010 and one of the hottest anime gal.

Yoko Littner.

From the day I got her from CH-Toynation until just few minutes ago, I havent removed the plastic bag just to keep her from any harm until this moment.

I've ripped the top part of the wrapping paper just to check it that its still in good shape. But now, goodbye wrapping paper.

Finally the unveiling of Miss Yoko Littner.

This toy is definitely not for kids. For grown ups, better get yourself one of these ^^

Damn thats one burning hot gal.

Among not so many Anime I have watched, Yoko is the only girl who's main outfit is a bikini top and a very short shorts.
Makes you wonder dosent it?

Sorry for the short review guys but I'm torn between taking her out or keep her in the box. What do you think I should do?

I'll make a poll and let you guys help me in deciding or leave a comment in the chatbox.

I was planning to post one more of my KH figurine but it seems that can wait. Im extremely happy to have this in one my katana/sword collection.

Finally I have my own shinai. YES, my own SHINAI for FREE ^^

I just got this shinai this afternoon from a friend. I'm truly in his debt for giving me something this really awesome.

Now for some pictures of it.

My shinai on the top one. What a perfect place to put most of my katana collection.

The shinai came with a brown cloth bag. I was really surprised when I got it since it really looks like a fishing pole bag.

Now a closer look on the bag. Do you really think a shinai could be in there? or a fishing pole?

Now the shinai out of the bag. Something looks wrong. Where's the arm guard?

Lets check the bag. Wow, a small pocket can be found on the top side of the bag.

Oh there it is the rubber arm guard.

Now thats more like it. Now Im ready to kick some butt. Just Kidding ^^

The Keyblade Master

Another post within a week. A good start for me and hopefully it continues ^^

Anyway for this time, its about Kingdom Hearts' hero, Sora.

I'm not a fan of KH actually but I did play one KH game and sadly I havent finished it.

Why I bought the figurine then? Well... Simple reason, the figurines looks very nice and the two keyblades are quite hard to resist (since I'm a huge fan of swords/katanas).

Well, lets begin.

Same box just like Sephiroth's one. Of course, both are Square Enix products.

I bought special Sora form edition because its cooler and have two keyblades (when your a big fan of something, it really affects your decision making).

Now Sora out of the box. Sorry bout the exposed picture. It happens sometimes but this time I did a rash decision that caused me to use this picture.

Not like Sephiroth, Sora is not provided with and stand. Who needs it when one has a pair of big shoes like him. Way big.

Its has the same joints of Sephiroth but since his arm joint attached to the sleeve then connected to the shoulder, it provides a greater flexibility than Sephiroth's.

Lets do some simple pose.

As you can see the fingers are made to move, not like Sephiroth which you have to switch hand to hold the sword. There is also something sticking out from his palm which enables him to hold his keyblades more firmly. Same techniques used byGundams.

Now the two keyblades.

As you can see there is a hole at the handle for the pointy thingy.

Now for some keyblade action pose.

Careful they small fella. You dont want to hurt yourself with it.

Well I guess its better to start the new year and to redeem myself for not posting so long with one of my best collection I have.

Surely some of you would know who I am going to post just from the tittle.

Yup, its the one and only one winged angel, Sephiroth.

As you can see, this Sephiroth came from the Kingdom Heart series, not from Final Fantasy 7 series.

A bit difference but still the same bad arse guy.

Oh no... The box is sealed. It seems that once I open it there is no turning back.

Oh well... Here goes...

Awesome. Totally awesome. Fine detail and well crafted figurines. Truly a Square Enix Product.

Oh look, an instruction manual.

Ok, so to pull the hand is like that. Useful indeed ^^

Now lets have a look with the legendary Masamune.

Truly a very long sword indeed. Even longer than my katana letter opener and Zangetsu.

Now time for some photo shoot.

Totally awesome. Well painted and design toy. Definitely a must have for FF7 fans like me ^^

The joints a bit stiff though. If only it was figma then it would be totally wicked ^^

From the back we can see where did he got the name "One Winged Angel".

I have been playing this game 4 times in the past 5 days at Alpha All Cyber Cafe with the Xbox 360 console with different survivors.

Dragon Ball

Sorry for another long absent but now exams are over (yay ^^) no more excuse for me not to blog anymore (unless I'm out of toys ^^ ).

Dragon Ball or "Mutiara Naga" in Malay, the manga that started it all why I'm love anime till today. My favorite character was obviously Goku-son or Son Goku (depends what language your reading). But today I'm not bragging bout the character but what started the entire anime/manga...the dragon ball itself.

As we know there are 7 dragon balls or in Malay "sesungguhnya Mutiara Naga itu ada 7 biji kesemuanya".

I know the box is not really fancy.

Behold the Dragon Balls. Its made from rubber and its really bouncy ^^. It would have been nice if its made from hard plastic or glass. It'll be more realistic.
Now does anyone out there know how to summon the dragon?

Its quite small. Almost the same size as a ping pong ball. I lost all my ping pong balls so I cant make a comparison for you all, really sorry *bow*

May be I should scatter it around Brunei and who can bring all to me will get something...

or...

Maybe not ^^

Gomu Gomu Rocket Punch

Sorry for the long absence. I was away due to school works and assignments. Anyway back to business. Today I'll be reviewing about one of the recently toys I bought. This one is from One Piece. Its the gomu gomu rocket punch from Captain Monkey D.Luffy.

The hand is really big and covered with soft cushion to prevent any injuries.

As you can see the hand increases the punching distance (not as long as Luffy's real ability).

It extends up to 61cm or 2 feet. Quite a distance.

Now to cut the straps holding it.

Interesting, a user manual is also provided. Not so simple as it seems this rocket punch.

As you can see this is where the hand is inserted and the trigger located.

The sleeve can be pulled to cover our hand to make it more realistic.

Tadaa~ see what I mean.

Now the comparison before and after the hand is fired.

Overall its a nice toy and enjoyable toy. Suitable for all ages (definitely not for babies tho)
A must have for One Piece fans especially to those cosplaying as Luffy ^^

No wonder the quality is good. Its from MATTEL.

Be careful where you are, I might just be behind you ready to strike ^^

Domo-kun

Today I'll talk about one of the cutest scary monster out there roaming the earth today. Its no other than Domo-kun ^^. For those who dont know what is Domo-kun, Domo-kun is actually Play Station mascot (unless they change it recently with another cute monster, LBP).

Anyway this Domo-kun is unique. Its not just another plush toy. Its also a speaker ^ isnt it awesome.

Now lets have a look.
Look at him there, sitting comfortable on my laptop. Hmm...wonder where is the speaker.

Oh there it is. The base of its feet are the speaker.

See I mean just know. Its a plush toy too. Have suction cups for decorating your car. Oh wait...there's a zip and a switch. Lets take a closer look.

Must be the on off switch for the speaker. Now lets open the zip.

So that is where I insert the battery (batteries are not included on purchasing). And there's the speaker connected.

Hiiragi Twins Part.2

I really apologize for taking a long time to post the 2nd part of the Hiiragi twins.

Now this time is about the elder Hiiragi twins, Kagami Hiiragi.
same like her sister, Kagami is using the same kimono. But what is different between them is that Kagami is holding a flat pentagonal shape wooden box, used by the japanese for praying goodluck.

Just look at her. Isnt she adorable ^^

Another well design pvc. A worthy collection indeed.

A rat. According to Japanese beliefs rats brings goodluck. Is it?

Anyone can translate that for me? ^^

Both sister reunited outside the box. Both holds goodluck charms. Will my luck change? ^^

Hiiragi Twins Part.1

Today I'm posting about one of the Hiiragi twins, Tsukasa Hiiragi to be precise.

Not a big fan of the Lucky Star series but it'll be such as waste to add them in ones collection.

Tsukasa Hiiragi. Sister of Kagami Hiiragi. Lets take her out from the box.

Aint she cute ^^ holding a charmed log I guessed ^^ Well detail pvc. Totally worth it ^^

My 1st Pinky Street

The tittle says it all. It was given to me by my Nacchi-chan ^^ Thank you~~

Its Rei Ayanami or Ayanami Rei (according to the box >.<) from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Not much to say about it but I insist in keep her inside the package if you guys dont mind ^^

Two Rei Ayanami body are provided, both have different type of uniforms.

Several accessories provided for Rei.
A school bag, a sandwich and a doll for Rei to hold.
The the two red items are a bow tie for her to use and last is an eye patch.

Then several stickers I assume is given for... something.

Well Im back again for another Nerf gun review.

Not just a Nerf gun. But the mother of all Nerf gun.

I proudly give you...The Vulcan EBF - 25

As you can read from the box. Yes it is the largest full auto gun.
It really strikes fear into your opponent.
It is quite heavy so a tripod stand and a carry handle is provided.

Now lets see whats inside the box.

Looks like some assembling is required.

What we have here... The gun, a box, the ammo belt and other stuffs.

The end result. One bad ass gun ^^

An ammo box is provided to hold the ammo belt.

The ammo belt can hold 25 bullets. Nice, more ammo than the magazine used by the Recon CS-6 and Longshot CS-6.

The Vulcan use the black head darts or the SONIC MICRO darts.

You can use the ammo box to hold you belt.

Or

Hold it like most war movies or as Rambo.

As mentioned earlier this bad ass gun is automatic. How you might wonder.
This gun require 6 D size batteries.

And then you insert all six in the battery case that can be found under the gun.

And finally with the press of this magic button, this gun can fire single shot or automatic shots.

Watch this video to see the Vulcan firing in auto fire. Its not my video by the way.

Lock N' Load

Its been a long time since my last post and again I apologize for it.

Back to business. Its been a long time since I've set my eye on these ones. Its not related to anime or action figure but it really kick butt. Since paintball and airgun is band so these are perfect replacements.

Are you nerf for it?
Nerf history back long ago with the bouncing ball or known as nerf ball. But now they outdid it and came up with the N-Strike.

This is the Longshot CS-6

This gun is made up of two nerf gun. The sniper and an attached on shotgun. Some of its parts can be disassembled and connected to other nerf guns. Such as this one below. The Recon CS-6

Rifle version of Recon CS-6

This gun can be broken up into smaller parts depends on how the battle goes. From a rifle to a handgun.

Both the Longshot and Recon both magazine clips. Each can be loaded up to 6 N-Strike bullets.

Sold separately a connector. For a faster reloading time since each mag only holds 6 bullets.

Now this is the Maverick. A 6 shooter handgun.

Care for a Russian Roulette?

There are several types of ammo for the N-Strike series but not all guns are compatible with it.

Dont worry its really safe as long no point blank execution shot style.

There are more N-Strike available but not all are available here and most of it are sold out already. So if you any of these guns out there dont think twice of buying it. It might be sold out next time you look for it.

Such as this one. A definetely must have.

I noticed that quite a number of bloggers out there are sharing their Pokemon collection. So I decided to join in ^^

My main collection in Pokemon is the TCG. But after about 9 years leaving it behind. These are the only things left.

My Team Magma Theme Starter deck. Still has the brand new look a bit ^^

And my Pokemon stadium. My brother bought it from the UK when Pokemon was at its prime ^^

The rest of my Pokemon TCG are long gone and some PVC miniature Pokemon too.

I even used to have the 1st Pokemon handbook edition. Listing the 1st 150 Pokemon.

I've also finished the green edition, crystal edition and the TGC edition.

Warcraft: The Outcast Brother

He is Illidian Stormrage. Brother of Malfurion Stormrage or better known as Furion.

Well its another PVC toy just like the tauren chief. But he came with the box. A deluxe version.

He is nicely done and painted.

A simple Warcraft history about him.

He was 1st captured after betraying the Night Elves during the War of the Ancients. Later released by Tryande Whisperwind to aid them fight against the Scourge.
Then he was banished from Kalimdor after he absorbed the Skull of Gul'dan to obtain dark powers.
In Warcraft: The Frozen Throne he was pursued and captured by Maiev Shadowsong, the Warden of the prison where he was imprisoned. In the end he lost to Arthas after trying to destroy the Lich King.

Well thats his story^^

But now I've decided to keep him imprison in the box maybe for another ten thousand years ^^

This one of my two warcraft collection I have. I really like this one. Well made and its a tauren and it suits me a bit since my zodiac signs are taurus (the bull) and also aries (the ram).

Jigoku Shoujo Straw Doll

Its been a while since my last entry. I'm really sorry.

Next is one of my scariest possession. Its the straw doll from Jigoku Shoujo but in my case string doll because its made from string.

I know it dosent look creepy at first glance but when you are staring at it at close range and in a low lighted room like mine. it is creepy.

Almost like the real doll itself.

In the anime, you'll receive this doll after you access the website from hell and wrote the name you want to get your revenge.

But you can only access it at midnight excatly at 12:00pm and once you entered a name there is no turning back.

After that then she will come and give you the doll herself.

Be warned!!! When one soul is cursed two graves are dug.

Then when you have pulled the string the contract is done. She will then sent he/her to hell immediately with a ring of a bell.

Finally Opened

Sorry for me taking my time in posting this. I had second thoughts about opening it.
But its opened now so I cant turn back.

Lets see whats in it.

Now lets have a closer look.

Extra hands. Just in case I break it or lost it I guess ^^D

Lets take a closer look.

I guess this is the predecessor of figma and revoltech.
The joints are simple and somehow easy to be broken.
But then again it works very well.

On one shoulder alone it has several ball joints and socket joints to move the arm.

The head joint can only do a nod.

Since the hand/ shoulder are the most movable, lets do some pose.

The set provided for Vash to do his pose on. Wow there's even a cuff.

Now Vash and the platform with the kitty at his feet. And not to forget one of his hand cuffed.

I guess this is the original Vash before the repaint. Red cloak instead of black.

Now the extra stuff provided.
A broken lock, a tin can that has blood splattered on it and a cute black cat =^^=

New Collection

I truly apologize for being absent for a long time. I will do my best for a more frequent updates. Well lets get down to business.

This is the latest one I just bought. Bought it few days ago. I have no intention on buying a new toy for now but this toy really grabbed my attention.

I havent watch the anime or read the manga tho but there a few things bout it that made me bought it.

1st is it has movable joints and a secret weapon. The word secret weapon made me curious enough to buy it. I do like secret weapon or hidden weapon ^^

2nd is its repainted. Sure that means it is painted again so it looks waaaaay cooler than before.

Not much reason though but its a good enough reason for me. And plus there's a cute kitty kat with him too =^^=

Now I do need your help in deciding should I open the box so I can do a review on him or just let him in the box forever~~~~~~

I am counting on your opinion on this ^^

Katana 101 Part 8

Well for today I want to share my self improvised katana rack.

What I used was...

A dish washer rack I bought from Underten shop
A very strong double side tape

Simple but very efficient and a huge success ^^

Now to enjoy the view of success ^^

The downside is it cant hold more than 3 without upsetting the balance. That's why I dont display my Sasuke's katana there.
I should drop by the shop again to pick up some more of it.

The Reveal

Well I guess its time now to let you know what's in 'the box'.

I did leave a clue for whats in it but now... The Reveal ( feels like the Ghost hunters of TAPS)

Its a Shinigami Captain Uniform.

And it belongs to Gotei 13 10th division Captain; Toshio Hitsugaya

Me without the captain's cloak.

Me and my own zanpakuto.

Now acting as the 10th division Captain.

Its really comfortable wearing it. But I accidently bought a bigger size so No, I'm not that fat from what you can see from the picture.

It also came with a bag. It cant carry much stuff as it would slide down to the base causing everything to mix up.

And also the sandals. I still cant figure out how to wear it.

Well that is what inside the package.

For any bleach cosplayer out there, lets hang out together and formed Brunei's Gotei 13 together. If there is a Brunei Gotei 13, can I join you guys?

Wonder what should I post next time. More cosplay or back to katana.

Finally Arrived

Yay my order finally came this morning. I order this cosplay before the H1N1 broke out for the DevMeet. But I dont think I'll be going so its kinda a let down. After all prevention is better then cure.

I've open the box and the package at the custom check. But I'll let it stay inside for a while. Some of you guys might know it already but for those who dont then you'll just have to wait ^^

Finally one of my orders came in a box.

There's no drugs or whatsoever in it. Just my cosplay costume bundled up. Cant wait to try it out ^^

Katana 101 Part 7

Now for the last and hopefully not the least of my 1:1 katana scale collection is my jigoku shoujo boken. Boken is the wooden sword used mostly by the samurai for training. And its also use nowdays in kendo.

Im not sure how come this boken is themed after Jigoku Shoujo but I guess from this sakura flower painted at the blade area.

Not much of a background I have there but what the heck. The lenght of the boken is similar to my sasuke's katana length. This boken is not like my other katana, this is the actual boken used in kendo. Its quite heavy and hard.

So thats it for my 1:1 katana collection. Next will be .... So stay tune to find out.

Katana 101 Part 6

Its been a long time already since my last katana 101 post. Now I'm back for more.

I just recently bought this one. Its really awesome. Eventhough I'm not a fan of Sasuke but when it comes to katana, I love em all.

The katana used by Uchiha Sasuke in Naruto Shippuden series.

The Uchiha Clan Fan symbol.

The blade is made of steel while the sheath and the handle is made from wood.

As you can see the length of Sasuke's katana is nearly the same as Rukia's zanpakuto.

Now thats one more off from my wishlist ^^

My order finally came. Took about two weeks to arrive and now its here. I took it from the post office at noon. I was suprise at the packing. And more suprised when I opened the package,

The package. I was hoping it was a box. LoL on me ^^

The item wrapped inside the bubble wrapper thing. Not even bigger than my palm. Really suprised me. Poor packing or I was expecting too much.

The four items I ordered. Yay it arrived in one piece ^^

Beware. What I have is the Jigoku Shoujo straw doll (but in my case string doll). Piss me off and I'll see you in hell ^-_-^ mwahahahaha.

The bracelet worn by Enma Ai. The bracelet's bell only rang when Enma Ai sends someone to hell.

Next item is Orihime hair pin which can turns into her a fairies that aids her in battle. Bought especially for my gf Nacchi ^^ hopes she likes it.

Last but not least. Its Haruhi brigade hand band. Bought it for fun. 2 more left to be collected.

Katana 101 Part 5

This is another zanpakuto I have in my collection. Sadly its not Ichimaru Gin's Seisho. So this is a new zanpakuto from the anime. Anyway this zanpakuto is all black like Ichigo's.(Perhaps its his but I picked the wrong hand guard). This zanpakuto is really long. Measured at 120cm, longer than my longest Daito.

Again, in bleach no one has the same hand guard not even for its unseat officers.

Even its blade it black all the way. Definitely Zangetsu in Bankai mode

This zanpakuto is way longer than Rukia's Sode No Shirayuki.

Next is my Jigoku Shoujo themed Boken so stay tuned.

Katana 101 Part 4

Im really happy so I cant wait not to post it. Just bought it this afternoon from my no.1 wooden katana supplier, CH =D.

Now lets see whats inside this box.
Yeah I know, my floor needs some serious vacuuming.

Now the most important part in Bleach. The hand guard. For all zanpakuto, the hand guard are not the same in awaken mode (after the name being pronounce).

Its totally awesome. I just love it.

This katana is from Bleach, Rukia Kuchiki, in its true form. And its name is...uhh...someone help...

Well these are not katanas but I label it cause katana means sword in japanese so lets just leave it that way.

This one I have problems with. I have no idea from which anime it is and I'm not even sure if this is a sword to begin with. So I need your help to identify this sword.

Katana 101 Part 2

Now for my next collection in line is Bleach Kurasaki Ichigo's zanpakuto, Zangetsu.

Quite a nice box ain't it. Lets see whats inside.

Its a steel Zangetsu.

It's quite heavy. Too bad the cloth is steel too. If it was real cloth it would be super awesome.

Looks like it was made for the Jump festival in 2005. Lucky me to have it without have to go there :)

I'm not sure about the length so lets measure it.

Total length about 21cm.

Katana 101 Part 1

Sorry for my long silence from updating my blog. Now Im back and lets get down to business. Im gonna share you one of my greatest passion, Katana collecting. I just love em and who dosent?

1st Im gonna show you my prized mini letter opener katana. It was created to imitate the real 1:1 size katana

This is it. The cover is made from wood, the handle is wrapped by nylon and the blade is from stainless steel.

Even the collar was made in detailed.

The only down side of the mini katana was the length was far shorter than the cover.

As you can see the blade was even polish and given the impression as it was as sharp as the real ones.

As you can see the size of the katana is similar to a gundam 1/100 size weapon.

Another recently bought toy and successfully assembled. Here is one unit from the Keroro squad, Private Tamama. A brief introduction bout Private Tamama. He is the most naive member in the squad but not to be underestimate either. His special move 'Tamama Beam' can easily destroy a naval aircraft carrier.

Here I brought you. TAMAMA ROBO. I've never seen the robo in the anime but its worth collecting for someone who likes 'Sergeant Keroro' or collecting mecha.
